David Lively App Alerts sends account alerts by text message from David Lively’s personal apps to the people who use them and sign up for alerts in the app. Each alert is about the app the person signed up in. It sends no marketing messages.

Which apps send alerts

The Inn (inn.davelively.net)
A private booking site for invited family and friends. Its hosts can sign up for booking alerts: new stay requests, cancellations, and stays booked by the other host. Sign up at inn.davelively.net/sms.
Fantasy Co-Manager (fantasy.davelively.net)
A personal fantasy football assistant for one team. Its owner can sign up for team alerts, such as a starting player ruled out before kickoff, or a lineup change worth making before games start. Sign up at fantasy.davelively.net/sms.

These apps are private: each is used only by people David Lively has invited, and each sends alerts only to people who signed up in that app.

How you sign up

Every app signs people up the same way, on a page inside the app. You enter your mobile number and tick a box agreeing to receive alerts. The box is never ticked for you, and signing up is never required to use an app. A second box confirms you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The wording beside the first box is the same in every app:

After you sign up, the app shows a confirmation on screen and sends one text confirming it. Each sign-up is recorded with your number, the time, the page, and the exact wording you agreed to.
